We invite you to take part in the simulation-modelling game “In the Shoes of a Deputy” on 27-29 October 2023.<\/p>\n

The aim of the project is to enable participants to feel like local deputies, try to understand how local government works, develop solutions, build coalitions, promote their initiatives, and gather votes to support them.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udfe3 Participants are given the opportunity to feel like real deputies, take part in the development and adoption of local initiatives, and work in a real session hall.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd35 We invite schoolchildren, students, representatives of NGOs and initiative groups, or just active residents of Sumy Oblast to participate.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd34 The deadline for submitting applications is 23 October, 19.00.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participants will be notified of the selection results by e-mail by 24 October at 14.00.<\/p>\n

The official languages of the programme are Ukrainian, English, Spanish, sign language, etc., but not Russian\/Belarusian, please note. For answers to questions, please call +38(066)924-01-03 (Vladyslav) or follow us on Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udfe2 Meals (lunch, coffee break) will be provided by the organisers. Non-resident participants will be provided with accommodation and reimbursement of transport costs (subject to availability of paper tickets)<\/p>\n

The game “In the Skin of a Deputy” is implemented by the NGO “Sumy Youth Organisation “Lyceum” with the support of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Sumy Regional State Administration, NGO “Space of Equal Opportunities” and the Department of International Economic Relations of Sumy State University.<\/em><\/p>\n
