The Department of International Economic Relations congratulates Doctor of Sciences, Professor Plastun Oleksii Leonidovych whose paper made the top 20 in \u00abInvestment Analysts Journal\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

Article titled \u201cPrice gaps: Another market anomaly?\u201d made the top 20 in \u00abInvestment Analysts Journal\u00bb. Authors Prof. Caporale (Brunel University, London, UK) and Prof. Plastun. Article was the most read for the whole 50-years history of the journal and was included into special \u201c50th anniversary collection\u201d issue<\/p>\n

\u00abInvestment Analysts Journal\u00bb is the official journal of the Investment Analysts Society of South Africa NPC (IASSA). It is published by Taylor & Francis (international publisher with head-quarter in Great Britain, founded in 1852).<\/p>\n

Text of the letter from Editor-in-Chief is below:<\/p>\n

\u00abNovember 1972 marked the occasion of the first issue of the \u201cInvestment Analysts Journal\u201d which is the official journal of the Investment Analysts Society of South Africa NPC (IASSA). November 2022 therefore marks our 50th anniversary. The IAJ is included in the Thomson Reuters Social Science Citation Index, Scopus, the Chartered Association of Business Schools UK guide, and accredited by the South African Department of Higher Education and Training. The objective is to achieve a top academic tier in terms of the citation impact factor for international finance-themed journals.<\/p>\n

The board of IASSA has decided to showcase the best articles published over the 50 years in a special collection edition when there have been more than 500. The methodology had to be objective and scientifically determined, no different to what is required for regular issues. Each of the more than 500 articles published during the past 50 years was studied. Consideration was given to each article\u2019s specific contribution. This list was distilled to 20 articles. Your article titled \u201cPrice gaps: Another market anomaly?\u201d made the top 20 list which is a unique and very special achievement\u00bb.<\/p>\n
