Russia has been taking advantage of this by disseminating propaganda<br \/>\nthrough scientific publications. Despite this, many international journals,<br \/>\npublishers, and scientometric databases continue to cooperate with Russian<br \/>\njournals and institutions, even if these entities openly support the war and the<br \/>\nannexation of Ukrainian territories. Unfortunately, Ukraine sometimes<br \/>\ninadvertently supports this cooperation by registering Russian journals, and some<br \/>\nUkrainian scientists even publish their research alongside Russian colleagues in<br \/>\nthese journals.<br \/>\nThe Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MON) is working to combat<br \/>\nthis issue, though its resources are limited.
