On May 19, 2026, during the international scientific and practical conference \u201cEconomics for Ecology\u201d, young researchers presented the results of their studies conducted within the research project \u201cFundamentals of Sustainable and Inclusive Regional Spatial Development for Post-War Reconstruction in the Context of Digital Transformation\u201d.<\/p>\n
Particular attention was drawn to the presentations delivered by students of the Department of International Economic Relations at Sumy State University:<\/p>\n
\u2013 Nataliia Lakhtaryna, who presented the study \u201cAnalysis of Case Studies of Post-War Reconstruction of Countries Around the World\u201d (scientific supervisor \u2013 Viktoriia Shcherbachenko);
\n\u2013 Sofiia Danilova with the presentation \u201cRegional Development Traps in Ukraine: Applying the Balland\u2013Boschma Approach\u201d (scientific supervisor \u2013 Inna Koblianska).<\/p>\n
– Kateryna Savchenko \u2013 \u201cAnalysis of New Markets for Ukrainian Products in Africa, Asia and Latin America\u201d (scientific supervisor \u2013 Svitlana Tarasenko).<\/p>\n
The presented studies addressed important issues related to post-war recovery, regional development, spatial disparities, and the search for approaches to building more resilient and inclusive territorial development models in the context of digital transformation.<\/p>\n
Student participation in scientific discussions and international conferences contributes to the development of a new generation of researchers capable of addressing the complex challenges of Ukraine\u2019s post-war reconstruction and sustainable regional development.<\/p>\n
