The Department of International Economic Relations at Sumy State University continues its practice of involving representatives of international business and industry professionals in the educational process, sharing with students real-world professional experience, modern business approaches, and insights into current global trends.<\/span><\/p>\n

On May 26, 2026, a guest lecture was delivered by Taras Volodymyrovych Demkura \u2013 a businessman with over 30 years of experience, Candidate of Economic Sciences, expert in behavioral economics, Vice President of the International Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine, and philanthropist \u2013 on the topic \u201cPersonal Brand as a Strategic Asset of Modern Times.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, the speaker not only discussed modern approaches to personal brand development, effective communication, and networking, but also shared his own professional journey \u2013 from a physical education teacher to an international entrepreneur. As a result, the lecture was highly practical, engaging, and enriched with real-life business cases and experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taras Volodymyrovych paid special attention to personal development, strategic thinking, and the ability to combine professional success with inner balance. Participants were introduced to the concept of the \u201cpersonal balance wheel,\u201d which encompasses key areas of life \u2013 career, finances, health, family, social projects, self-development, and leisure.<\/span><\/p>\n

The lecture also covered topics such as international entrepreneurship, environmental responsibility in business, support for youth initiatives, and the development of entrepreneurial skills among young people. The speaker shared examples of international business projects, discussed work in the field of sustainable development, and emphasized the importance of continuous learning, communication, and openness to new opportunities in today\u2019s world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event sparked keen interest among participants and served as a platform for open dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and discussions on current opportunities for the professional and personal development of young people.<\/span><\/p>\n
