Since May 2026, a series of lectures \u00abResearch, Production and Business Partnership for Sustainable Development: the post-war reconstruction period<\/strong>\u00bb has been running.<\/p>\n

The main objective of this block is focused on the analysis of the interactions between research organizations and industry, which is seen as a European priority area in innovation policy. Collaboration between research organizations and industry is an essential tool for meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The broad nature of the SDGs requires multi-disciplinary and holistic approaches that provide students with the knowledge and skills that are important for their success in their studies, career and further professional life.<\/p>\n

Students gain knowledge of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and R&D impact on achieving the SDGs; Understanding the SDG as a practical tool that can concretize capabilities to mobilize Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) as the main driver behind productivity that increases and long-term economic growth and prosperity to achieve SDGs;\u00a0 defining the STI\u2019s role in the sustainability transition and understanding a significant role in the interaction between academy and industry in innovation.<\/p>\n

The results of the study: understanding the significance of the Academic Corporate Collaboration (ACC) as an interaction between any parts of the higher educational and research organization system with industry aiming mainly to encourage knowledge and technology exchange; understanding that the relationship between companies and research organizations is embedded in the notion of knowledge transfer, particularly from research organizations to industry. This educational block demonstrates and proves that ACC will create meaningful benefits for all parties, and these benefits will not materialize without investment from researchers and companies.<\/p>\n
