In September 2026, Sumy State University launched the course \u201cInnovative Entrepreneurship and Startup Management: The Experience of Ukraine and the EU\u201d, delivered within the Jean Monnet Chair EU_STRENGHTS.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, 46 Bachelor’s students have enrolled in the course. Throughout September and October, they will complete 32 hours of lectures and 18 hours of practical classes focused on contemporary approaches to innovative entrepreneurship, startup creation and development, as well as Ukrainian and European experience in building innovation ecosystems.<\/span><\/p>\n

The lectures are delivered by Dr. Inna Koblianska, Head of the EU_STRENGHTS project, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of International Economic Relations. Practical classes are led by Dr. Viacheslav Voronenko, Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration.<\/span><\/p>\n

An important feature of the course is the combination of theoretical knowledge with a practical perspective on developing innovative ideas \u2013 from understanding innovation ecosystems and identifying opportunities to shaping startup projects and selecting appropriate tools for their development. Particular attention will be given to the experience of the European Union and its relevance to the Ukrainian context.<\/span><\/p>\n

The course continues the educational mission of EU_STRENGHTS \u2013 promoting knowledge of the European culture of science and innovation, fostering entrepreneurial and innovative thinking among young people, and developing the competencies needed to turn new ideas into real-world solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

We wish our students two productive months filled with new knowledge, inspiring ideas, and successful innovation projects!<\/span><\/p>\n
