The course is delivered within the Jean Monnet Chair EU_STRENGHTS project and brings together 46 Bachelor’s students.

Throughout September and October, students explored European and Ukrainian approaches to innovative entrepreneurship, learned about startup development, business model design, and strategies for bringing innovative products to market. The course culminated in presentations of startup ideas developed during practical classes.

The projects covered a wide range of innovative solutions – from technologies designed to overcome language barriers to urban greening services and digital productivity tools. Among the ideas presented were real-time translation earbuds, the GreenSpace urban landscaping service, and FocusFlow, a digital tool for improving concentration and personal productivity.

During the pitching session, students had the opportunity to present their ideas, explain the problems their solutions address, demonstrate their potential value to users, and respond to questions from experts.

The expert panel included Dr. Inna Koblianska, Head of the EU_STRENGHTS project, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of International Economic Relations, and Dr. Viacheslav Voronenko, Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration.

The pitching session provided students with an opportunity to experience the role of startup founders, receive feedback on their ideas, and strengthen their skills in communicating innovative solutions.

This approach – moving from studying European experience to applying knowledge in practice – reflects an important part of the EU_STRENGHTS project’s educational mission.
