As part of the course “Scientific Project Management” for PhD students, a series of lectures totaling 5 hours was conducted on the topic “Cross-Cultural Context in Academic and Scientific Collaboration: Challenges and Opportunities.” The lectures were organized by PhD T. Shcherbyna, a lecturer at the Department of International Economic Relations at SumDU and a lecturer in the International Business program at Jamk School of Business, Finland. The event was implemented within the framework of the project “EU Experience for Youth Employment through Professional Skills Development” (ERASMUS-JMO-2021-MODULE – SKILLS4JOB \u2013 101047867).<\/em><\/p>\n

During the lectures, the following topics were covered:<\/p>\n

  1. Dynamics of Cross-Cultural Collaboration<\/strong>: Studying cultural models and their impact on academic collaboration, including Hall and Hofstede’s theories.<\/li>\n
  2. Challenges and Advantages<\/strong>: Analysis of real examples of the challenges and benefits of cross-cultural collaboration.<\/li>\n
  3. Best Practices<\/strong>: Recommendations for effective communication, managing work styles, and building successful collaborations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The lecturer extensively used interactive components, which are an integral part of experiential learning, including:<\/p>\n
