Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) is a critically important part of the Web of Science Core Collection™.
ESCI covers a wealth of publication and citation data from 2005 to 2017 including over 2.6 mln publication records from 220 countries and territories. The ESCI archive is particularly important not only as a broader source of publication data for social sciences and humanities, but also as an additional set of citations contributing to publication impact.
In this webinar, we will consider the importance of ESCI content for the European universities and research organizations from the standpoint of both content and research metrics.
