It is absolutely true. An opportunity to choose disciplines is realization of an individual vector of training. It means that the student, in addition to the required professional competencies, may acquire additional professional skills in related fields of economics and / or other fields. These subjects are IT-orientation, jurisprudence, engineering, etc.
Students select the elective courses for the next semester electronically by voting for them in the catalog of elective courses, which is an integral part of the student’s personal profile. On the one hand, it is a convenient and fast way of communication between the student and the dean’s office, and on the other hand, it enables to interfere in the choice of each of them. The vector of disciplines chosen by the student forms the professional individuality – his/her competitive advantages in the labor market.
Sure, there is such a possibility. Each of the entrants, during the admission procedure, has the opportunity to make own choice: to start studying in a Ukrainian-speaking or English-speaking group. If an entrant chooses to study in a Ukrainian-speaking group, the first two years of the studies are taught in Ukrainian with intensive study of English. Then, the English-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking groups merge into a single stream of students. Further training will be in English
No, it is not difficult at all:
If the entrant chooses a Ukrainian-speaking group, he / she, in addition to economic disciplines, obtains enhanced English language training in innovative programs adapted for students with only basic English language skills provided by the school course. These language training programs are designed in such a way that at the beginning of the third year of study, when a single English-language stream of the specialty is formed, all students have the same level of English-language training.
If the student chooses English-language education – all subjects are taught in English, but according to the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, all materials (lectures, practical tasks, guidelines, consultations with the teacher) are given to students in the Ukrainian language. The advantages of studying in an English-speaking group from the first year of study are: enhanced English-language training and learning a second foreign language (German or French).
