On 8 December 2023, the coordinator of the EU Erasmus+ Project “Implementation of European Union mechanisms for combating modern challenges and threats” (101085700 – IMEU – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEITCH-RSCH), PhD, Assoc. Prof. Viktoriia Shkola participated in the TUM Research Fest 2023. The event was held under the direction of Prof. Joachim Henkel at the TUM School of Management of the Technical University of Munich (Germany).
Scientists, students, and industry partners participated in this year’s Research Fest. During the festival, participants presented and exchanged numerous innovative ideas and the latest scientific results of interdisciplinary research.
As part of the event, a poster exhibition was held. Thirty-one doctoral students and postdocs of the School of Management of the Technical University of Munich presented the ongoing research projects.
PhD, Assoc. Prof. Viktoriia Shkola in co-authorship with Prof. Dr. Andreas Pondorfer and M.Sc. Georg Hoch presented scientific research on “Conflict and Social Capital: Evidence from the Russian-Ukrainian War”.
In addition, during the event, the participants got acquainted with TUM scientists’ insightful research, including the following topics:
- “Individual Perceptions of Business Groups after Incidents of Wrongdoing: Exploring the Alignment of Impression Management Tactics” (Prof. Melanie Richards);
- “Early Child Care, Maternal Labor Supply, and Gender Equality: A Randomized Controlled Trial” (Prof. Philipp Lergetporer);
- “Where should I charge my car? – From User-centric Solutions to System-centric Improvements” (Prof. Maximilian Schiffer);
- “The Entrepreneurial Finance Foodchain: Collaboration, Communities and Success” (Prof. Pure Brown).
The presented works aroused interest and a lively debate among the festival participants.
