From October 17 to 24, 2023, Olha Yeremenko, a PhD student of the Department of International Economic Relations, took part in the first stage of the project “The Benefits Of Entrepreneurship” in Venice, Italy. This project, organized by the APS Youth Union for Intercultural Relations E.T.S. (Baku, Azerbaijan) and supported by the NGO Center for Euroinitiatives (Sumy, Ukraine), provided her with the opportunity to deepen her knowledge of social entrepreneurship and realize the importance of responsible business for society.
The objectives of the project were:
- Raising awareness of social entrepreneurship.
- Informing participants about various social problems and how social enterprises can solve them.
- Empowering young people to work in this field and contribute to society.
- Equipping participants with the skills needed to create successful and sustainable enterprises.
- Providing information on EU proposals related to social enterprises.
- Promoting non-formal learning methods.
- Providing information about the Erasmus+ program and facilitating future cooperation between participating organizations.
Olha: “I am convinced that The Benefits Of Entrepreneurship project plays an important role in encouraging young people to actively participate in creating a future based on the values of responsibility and efficiency. This project has given me a strong belief that I can contribute to the development of society through entrepreneurship. It doesn’t matter if it’s in Italy, Azerbaijan, or Ukraine.”
