The international school of project management at Sumy State University

During June-September 2021, a joint project with the Jesuit University Ignatium (Krakow, Poland) took place in the format of virtual mobility for lecturers, graduate students and students of SSU. The project was based on a Memorandum of Understanding and had the title “European Grant Projects: The Experience of Poland”. It included an online course of professional Polish with assignments and a summer school for the development of grant project applications in Sumy. In total, the course included 5 credits, including 2 credits to create a project on the following topics:
– Development and management of EU-funded projects to support Ukraine’s European integration.
– Review of EU policy, priorities and trends, grant funding sources for joint projects with Ukraine.
– Challenges of successful international cooperation through grant funding.
– Case studies of successful Polish and Ukrainian cooperation in the framework of grant projects.
About 90 people from different faculties took part in the course, 35 people successfully completed the summer school, which took place on September 9-12, 2021 at the Congress Center of SSU with the participation of Polish and Ukrainian experts. The main goal of the project was to prepare concepts for interdisciplinary project applications from SSU in partnership with the Polish side.
