THE SUMMER SCHOOL OF THE JEAN MONNET PROJECT ON THE TOPIC “COMPETENCES FOR SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT IN EU COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS” HAS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

On May 15-19, 2023, a 5-day training event was successfully completed within the framework of Jean Monnet’s module “EU Experiences for Enhancing Youth Employability through Professional Skills Development”, financed by the Erasmus+ program (ERASMUS – JMO -2021-MODULE -SKILLS4JOB-101047867). The authorship of the project and the summer schools belongs to: Y. Serpeninova and N. Vynnychenko, associate professors of the Department of Accounting and Taxation, and to T. Shcherbina and O. Zamora, associate professors of the Department of International Economic Relations (SumDU).

The international summer school on the topic “Competences For Successful Employment In EU Companies and Organizations” was held in an online format, which made it possible to engage many interesting experts from different countries, in particular:

  • Vladyslava Aleksiychuk – head of the Internationalization Commission, coordinator of the group of translators in the Press Office of the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland.
  • Piet KommersD., pioneer in media education and leader of NATO Advanced Research Workshops on Cognitive Learning Tools, the Netherlands. A UNESCO professor and scientific leader with extensive experience in educational technology and social media.
  • Jana Pulpanovaenvironmental services support officer, a council of Huon Valley in Tasmania. The founder of the Envirostyl agency, which gave birth to the Zero Waste Hero CZ concept, Czech Republic.
  • Oleksandr Romanko – Ph.D. in informatics. Adjunct professor and founding director of the Master’s program Technology Leadership&AI at the American University of Kyiv. Co-founder of the Mitacs Canadian research internship program for Ukraine.
  • Mihai Cotorobai – project Manager at People in Need, Relief and Development Department (RDD), Moldova.
  • Anastasia Ostapenko – export manager of the company HL Hamburger Leistungsfutter Ukraine-Germany.
  • Taras Dumenko – general manager at Nova Ukraine.
  • Anton Karpenko – startup mentor, entrepreneur, programmer, engineer, technical architect of several startups, participant of the computer academy “STEP” in Europe.
  • Mykola Skyba – education expert at the Ukrainian Institute of the Future. Moderator of the “Culture 2025” strategic initiatives platform, national coordinator of the EU and Council of Europe COMUS project.
