On June 20, 2023, teachers of the Department of International Economic Relations of BiEM, Sumy State University, PhD assoc.prof. Zamora O., Khomutenko L. and PhD Shcherbyna T. attended a webinar by the Times Higher Education (THE) on the topic “Campus webinar: Getting digital assessment right”. The webinar was held as part of the Campus program, launched in 2021 in partnership with Arizona State University, Cintana, and Microsoft to promote the sharing of knowledge and expertise in technology-enabled learning. It is now a modern platform offering the opportunity to network with colleagues in universities and colleges around the world, and to join the global debate on key issues in higher education.
Digital assessment is becoming central to higher education as part of a broader digital transformation and transition to qualitatively different approaches in the work of university communities. This encourages educational institutions to seek answers to the questions of how digital assessment can improve student education, and to develop smart solutions so that digital assessment meets the rapidly changing technological development. The specified webinar considered the following issues:
- When is digital assessment the right choice?
- How can digital assessments facilitate feedback?
• How can educators remain agile and responsive to developments in technology and AI?
