On February 28, 2024, at a meeting of the one-time specialized academic council of Sumy State University, Kateryna Volodymyrivna Onoprienko defended her thesis for the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Knowledge 05 “Social and behavioral sciences”.
The topic of the dissertation research is “Organizational and Economic Foundations of the Development of the Adult Education System” (supervisors: Yu.M. Petrushenko, a Doctor of Economics, professor, professor of the Department of International Economic Relations of Sumy State University; A. Balzerzak, a Doctor of Habilitation, professor of Warmian-Masurian University).
The council’s chairman is Leonov S.V., a Doctor of Economics and a Department of Economic Cybernetics professor. Senior lecturers of the Department of International Economic Relations, PhD in Economics, Assoc. professor Shcherbachenko V.O. and PhD in Economics Vorontsova A.S. acted as reviewers for the dissertation.
Official opponents were: O.V. Dlugopolskyi, a Doctor of Economic Sciences, professor, professor of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory of the West Ukrainian National University; T.G. Zatonatska, a Doctor of Economics, professor, professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
At a one-time council meeting, a decision was made to award the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in speciality 051 “Economics” (field of knowledge 05 “Social and behavioral sciences”) to Onoprienko Kateryna Volodymyrivna.
