Participation of students of the Department of International Economic Relations in a meeting-discussion with the NATO representative Ms. Vineta Kleine

On May 20, students of the Department of International Economic Relations took part in an international seminar “SPS Advanced Research Workshop on Resilience”, where they had the opportunity to meet with the Director of the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine, Ms. Vineta Kleine.

During the meeting were discussed a number of issues related to the goals and objectives of the North Atlantic Alliance, its role in the development of interstate political and economic ties both between member states and close partners, as well as the work of the Alliance on Peacekeeping.

The meeting with Ms. Kleine was held in English in the form of a lecture-discussion, during which students not only had the opportunity to learn from practice the relevance and importance of the theoretical knowledge they receive while studying in International Economic Relations, but also to receive comprehensive answers on a rather difficult and extremely interesting questions.

In particular, Ms. Kleine focused on the academic and professional opportunities for IER students who are interested in the practical solution of NATO’s challenges and see their future in coworking with the Alliance.
