Conducting a series of lectures on the course «European practices of green tourism to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals» within the framework of the Jean Monnet project (№101126971 – Green tourism – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH – «European practices of green tourism and its transformation in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine»)

As part of the Jean Monnet project (№101126971 – Green tourism – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH – «European practices of green tourism and its transformation in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine»), professor Leonid Taraniuk in January-March 2025 conducted a series of lectures on the course «European practices of green tourism to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals» for bachelor’s students of the “Business Management” specialty of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania) in an offline format. The following topics were covered: Green tourism to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: introduction; European Green Tourism Practices to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: connection with the goals (SDGs 1-17); European Green Tourism Practices to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: resource efficiency, environmental protection and climate change; European Green Tourism Practices to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: resource efficiency (SDGs 6,7,8) (EU cases); European Green Tourism Practices to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: environmental protection (SDGs 12,14,15) (EU cases); European green tourism practices to achieve sustainable development goals: climate change (SDG 13); Examples of sustainable (green) tourism in Europe; Organizational aspects of green tourism in the EU (case from the EUROPARC Federation). In the process of covering the lecture material for students, elements of problem-based learning and brainstorming were introduced.
