Congratulations to Veronika Barvinok on the Successful Defense of her PhD Dissertation!

On May 11, 2026, a meeting of the specialized academic council of Sumy State University was held for the dissertation defense of Veronika Barvinok to obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of study 05 “Social and Behavioral Sciences,” specializing in 051 “Economics.”

Dissertation Topic: “Socio-economic transformations in the ‘education-migration-labor market’ chain.”

The defense was conducted via an online conference. Based on the results of the open vote, the specialized academic council decided to award Veronika Barvinok the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The scientific community noted the relevance of the research and the high level of the candidate’s preparation.
