THE VII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE BROUGHT TOGETHER STUDENTS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AND NEW FORMATS OF ACADEMIC COMMUNICATION

On 12 May 2026, the Department of International Economic Relations at Sumy State University hosted the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference “International Economic Relations and Sustainable Development,” which became a platform for international academic dialogue, student research presentations, and discussions on contemporary global challenges.

One of the distinctive features of this year’s conference was the active participation of students from different countries. Research presented by participants from Moldova and Georgia focused on digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, and global economic inequality.

The conference also demonstrated new approaches to academic communication. Some participants joined the event through video presentations, expanding opportunities for international participation and making academic interaction more flexible and accessible.

Participants discussed current issues in international economics, sustainable development, international cooperation, and global transformations, while the conference itself became a space for exchanging ideas, innovative approaches, and research experience.

Such events contribute to the development of international academic cooperation, support for young researchers, and the creation of an open scientific environment for students.
