Inna Koblianska, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations at Sumy State University, was awarded a House of Europe mobility grant and completed an academic visit to Klaipeda University (Lithuania) from 23 to 30 May 2026.
As part of the mobility programme, she participated in the Erasmus Staff Week “Digital Magic and AI in Academia,” which brought together representatives of higher education institutions from different countries to discuss digital transformation in higher education, the use of artificial intelligence in academia, and the development of international cooperation.
The programme included lectures, networking events, professional discussions, and experience-sharing activities. Particular attention was paid to digital literacy, digital etiquette, intercultural communication, and the application of innovative technologies in higher education.
One of the key outcomes of the mobility was the expansion of international professional networks and the establishment of cooperation with the Department of Management and Economics at Klaipeda University. Discussions focused on opportunities for academic exchanges, joint educational initiatives, international projects, and further collaboration between the institutions.
Participation in the Erasmus Staff Week provided an important opportunity to present the experience of Sumy State University in an international environment, learn from European higher education practices, and identify new directions for international cooperation.
The Department of International Economic Relations expresses its gratitude to House of Europe for supporting the professional development of Ukrainian academics and creating opportunities for the integration of the Ukrainian academic community into the European educational space.
