On May 9, 2024, the Academic Council of Sumy State University summarized the results of the Scientific Activity Rating of all university departments in 2023.
The rating systematically takes into account various indicators of scientific activity, in particular publications in publications indexed by the Scopus and/or WoS databases, the number of titles of protection for intellectual property rights, the number of citations of publications on behalf of Sumy State University, which are calculated by the
Scopus database, the total value of the Hirsch indexes for the Scopus database or WoS database, the receipt of funds for the implementation of state scientific and international grants, etc.
The Department of International Economic Relations took an honorable 3rd place among all departments of the University.
We are grateful to the teachers of the department who have ensured high rates of scientific activity by participating in conferences of various levels, publishing research results in publications indexed by the Scopus and/or WoS databases that belong to the Q1 and Q2 quartiles, as well as participating in national and international scientific and educational grant projects.
Currently, the department is implementing 15 scientific and educational international grants of the Erasmus+ (KA2 and KA1), Horizon, Jan Mone Module programs, bilateral projects with the USA, Finland, Great Britain, Austria, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, and Turkey.
