On May 9, 2024, the Academic Council of Sumy State University summed up the results of the International Activity Rating of all university departments for the first time.
This rating systematically takes into account various indicators of international activity, including international relations of the department, opportunities and results of international academic mobility for students and teachers, the number of international grants and awards, international educational courses, joint research and publications with foreign colleagues, etc.
The Department of International Economic Relations took an honourable 1st place among all the departments of the University.
We are grateful to the teachers of the department who provided international academic mobility opportunities for students majoring in International Economic Relations and are implementing 15 scientific and educational international grants of the Erasmus+ (KA2 and KA1), Horizon, Jan Mone Module programs, bilateral projects with the United States, Finland, Britain, Austria, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, and Turkey.

In addition, the department employs 3 foreign teachers, implements the Joint International Online Learning Program together with the Center for Economic Research and Postgraduate Education CERGE-EI Foundation (Prague, Czech Republic) and international virtual classes with partners from Finland, Germany, and the United Kingdom, in which 99 students majoring in International Economic Relations participated during the year.
