New partners – new opportunities

On December 7, 2022, the representatives of the Business School of the University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä, Finland, and the Institute of Business, Economics, and Management of Sumy State University held a meeting regarding the initiation of cooperation.

The Department of International Economic Relations initiated cooperation in the academic and scientific sphere with the Global Competence Department, JAMK School of Business. At the meeting, the department was represented by the head, Yu.M. Petrushenko, Professor Zhuravka F.O., Associate Professor Zamora O.M., and senior teacher, Shcherbyna T.V. From the Finnish side, Heikki Pusa, head of the Education Export Service and Matti Hirsila, head of the Global Competence Department, attended the meeting.

The parties discussed possible areas of academic and scientific cooperation. In particular, they noted the great potential for implementing joint programs in the field of tourism. International business, sustainable economic development, innovative approaches to education, and sports management are also considered key areas.
