Volunteer activity of a student of the IER department

Serhiі Kushvidov, a 2nd-year student at the Department of International Economic Relations, is a volunteer of the youth public organization “MetaMorfozy”. On the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, their team received an award for active volunteering – a certificate of honor from the Bakhmach Municipal Council. This is how Serhiі describes his activities: “Being a volunteer means devoting part of your time to social projects, the purpose of which is to improve the situation at the front and our lives. This activity is voluntary even today, it is a way of life of a modern person. At the beginning of the war, I joined the Bakhmach town volunteer organization “MetaMorfoza”.

So, during the 9 months of the active phase of the war, we made more than 100 first-aid kits, wove more than 200 nets, sewed more than 50 flags, balaclavas, chevrons, set up the production of trench candles, camouflage winter suits, home baked goods and charms for the military. Several fairs were organized, where more than 500 shoppers of their own tailoring were sold. One of the fairs was held in Germany. In general, with the proceeds from the sale of various products, we managed to buy two cars and thermal imagers for the Armed Forces, change car tires and buy two generators. We know that victory is ours, because we feel the hetman’s dignity and the insurgent tenacity of our soldiers.”
