Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations Iryna D’yakonova has gained an experience of participating in team supervision as part of a support project for refugees from Ukraine in Austria.
Supervision as an employee management element is a standard tool for working in teams that work with people and provide individual consulting services in European countries. After all, such kind of work is extremely emotionally exhausting. At the same time, it is important to maintain the overall focus of the team’s activities, coherence, and maintain the psychological stability of the team.
The most companies in Austria use this form of teamwork.
It allows to improve the quality of decision-making, identify workload requests and help with their resolution or refer them to the HR department, help in identifying and achieving personal knowledge, career and development opportunities.
The experience gained during this work will also help to improve the level of teaching disciplines aimed at developing general, professionally oriented competences and communication skills of Sumy State University students studying such disciplines as “Personal Brand and Career Development”, “HR Management in International Business”, “HR Management: Fundamentals of Leadership”, taught at the Department of International Economic Relations.
