During the week, the lecturers of the department, associate professor Wojciech Duranowski and senior lecturer Svitlana Tarasenko, have worked on the creation concept and scenario of an online geometry educational game for Italian, Turkish and Hungary schools within the framework of the Erasmus+ program project “EXPLORATIONS IN THE DIGITAL WORLD”. The technical support of the game will be provided by a private company from the Foligno city, Italy.
The lecturers also visited the school in the Umbria region, where only 40 students study. However, courses in robotics, augmented reality, and virtual reality are taught at the school as part of the core curriculum. It is also planned to introduce a course on artificial intelligence. Schoolchildren have presented more than 10 projects with elements of augmented and virtual reality and robots to the participants of the meeting.
