Representatives of the Department of International Economic Relations are participating in an academic mobility program at the University of Liverpool

Associate Professor Tetiana Kurbatova and PhD student Tetiana Perederii have been participating in an academic mobility program at the University of Liverpool since April 2025, within the framework of the UK–Ukraine Twinning Initiative. The program aims to strengthen international scientific cooperation and support the professional development of Ukrainian researchers. The scholars are conducting joint research with Dr. Claes Belfrage (School of Management, University of Liverpool) and are actively involved in various scientific and educational activities. Participation in the program became possible thanks to the Unity Initiative, supported by the Cormack Consultancy Group and Universities UK. This initiative connects Ukrainian and British universities to preserve and develop Ukraine’s scientific and educational potential during wartime. The partnership between the University of Liverpool and Sumy State University under this program provides valuable opportunities for implementing joint research projects, academic exchanges, and long-term collaboration among faculty, researchers, and students from both institutions.
