Sumy State University Experts Took Part in the Preparatory Webinar for the International IMPA4U Workshop on Digital Transformation in Higher Education

Today, August 8, 2025, a distinguished delegation from Sumy State University (SumDU) participated in the preparatory meeting for the workshop “IMPA4U Theoretical Modeling & Platform Development Workshop” planned to be held in September  Çorum, Türkiye. This international event will bring together experts from across Europe to collaboratively develop the theoretical foundation and practical structure of the IMPA4U Digital Platform—an initiative focused on advancing strategic planning and performance management within higher education.

Representatives from SumDU included:

    • Olha Liuta, PhD, Associate Professor Olha; the Assistant to the Rector for Quality Assurance in Higher Education
    • Oksana Zamora, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of International Economic Relations, project coordinator
    • Roman Kraskovskyi, Head of the Webdesign Unit of the Webresources Center, co-author of the “Educational Programs Catalogue Information System”
    • Borys Kuzikov, Associate Professor; e-learning & technical sciences specialist
    • Vladyslav Khomenko, Head, Information Systems Center; Head, Lab of System Analysis.

The IMPA4U workshop aims to build an innovative digital platform for integrated university management. Participants engaged in discussion on designing model adaptability, quality improvement strategies, capacity-building, and data-driven decision-support systems. The SumDU team will contribute its expertise in strategic performance analysis, digital transformation, and web resource integration.

Among the objectives of the workshop are developing platform architecture, integrating advanced analytics, and fostering international cooperation between universities. The platform is set to enhance efficiency, transparency, and data-informed decision-making in higher education—values strongly championed by SumDU’s ongoing commitment to innovation and academic excellence.

The event also provides ample opportunity for professional networking and alliance-building, strengthening SumDU’s position as a reliable partner in international higher education projects and digital transformation initiatives.

The webinar and workshop are a part of the project titled “An Integrated Model for Strategic Excellence in Higher Education Institutions” funded within the Erasmus+ programme. The planned project duration is 24 months (31.12.2024 – 30.12.2026).
