During the fall of 2024, a series of idea labs was held under the Jean Monnet Module ‘EU Experience for Enhancing Youth Employment through the Development of Professional Skills.’ The events were facilitated by Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations at SumDU, Oksana Zamora. The labs were conducted with second-year PhD students. The labs presented and discussed the latest relevant grant opportunities from the EU for Ukrainian young researchers, their teams, and associated organizations for the EU financial period 2021-2027. A series of consultations were provided on obtaining individual and other types of grants, including grant funding for startups at various stages.
The main focus of this series of labs was on a topic currently being actively developed by the European Commission – bringing science to market. The facilitator invited participants to visit social network pages/chats, which she regularly updates with grant opportunities on a volunteer basis (Facebook group of the Association of Project Managers of Ukraine, Facebook group of SumDU doctoral students).
The series of labs was implemented as part of the project ‘EU Experience for Enhancing Youth Employment through the Development of Professional Skills’ (SKILLS4JOB), funded by the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module (ERASMUS – JMO -2021-MODULE -SKILLS4JOB-101047867).
