The IER Department Professor Acted as a Trainer at the KA1 International Training for Youth Workers in Malta

On September 14-26, 2022, a 10-day training for youth workers was held in the city of Bujiba, Malta, within the “I Am Nice As Well” project. The project was financed by the Erasmus+ program within the direction KA153-YOU – mobility of youth workers. Lecturer at the Department of International Economic Relations of Sumy State University, PhD, Associate Professor Zamora O.M. was invited by the host organization “Active Youth” (Fgura, Malta) as a trainer.
Representatives of 8 countries (Malta, Ukraine, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Lithuania, Georgia, Armenia) participated in the training. The goal of the project was to provide the participants with appropriate skills for the use of theater technologies in youth work to combat bullying, in particular, TOTO technologies (Theater of the Opressed), which is a type of a forum-theatre. Through a complex of non-formal education activities, the participants improved their professional and personal qualities in the topic of working with young people.
