Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (Czech Republic) and the consortium of 5
Ukrainian universities (Sumy State University, Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University,
Sumy National Agrarian University, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Polissia National
University) are inviting you to participate in the international multidisciplinary conference titled
“Sustainable Development in Wartime Ukraine and the World”. The conference will be hosted
by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague online.
Aim of the international conference: to provide a presentation and networking
opportunities for early career researchers (PhD students and young PhD holders) from a range
of disciplines. The organizer will publish the Book of Abstracts using the participants materials.
The participation is free of charge, the working language is English.
We encourage the graduates of the “Academic English Writing Course” that have
successfully completed it with the final abstract assignment, to submit their abstracts for the
publication in the Book of Abstracts.

The files should be named with the author’s name and surname: e.g.
Petrushenko_Abstract. The abstracts of original research should contain 300-500 words. Please,
use the Conference abstract template for the formatting.

Authors will be notified by the 20th of November whether their abstracts have been
accepted. Notification with the rules for oral/poster presentation as well as technical guidelines

The conference is a final part of the development project “ENHANCEMENT OF THE PHD
STUDENTS POTENTIAL FOR QUALITATIVE RESEARCH IN UKRAINE” funded by the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, 2022. The project is aimed at increasing the potential of
PhD students of Ukraine through the advancement of their skills and knowledge of qualitative
research, and through the provision of grant funding and the creation of an environment and
tools for their guided practical implementation.
