A Series of Lectures on Project Management According to EU Standards within the Framework of the Jean Monnet Project Was Implemented by the Lecturer of the IEA Department

 From May to early June 2022, a series of 5 lectures on “EU Grants under the EU Financial Period 2021-2027 for Professional and Organizational Growth” was held for master students within the “International Project Management” course. The series of lectures was implemented within the framework of the project “EU Experience for Improving Youth Employment through Skills Development” (SKILLS4JOB), funded by the Jean Monnet Module program. The lecturer of the series is Oksana Mykhailivna Zamora, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations, President of the Association of Project Managers of Ukraine. The course is delivered in English, its syllabus was adjusted in accordance with the project plan. The classes were open for public, some were visited by other lecturers. Examples of funded projects, their relationship to EU priorities and policies, and soultions cases of real societal needs were used to provide students with relevant practical competencies and skills.
    The aim of this project is to promote EU research as a tool to increase the employment opportunities of graduates in the EU market or in companies that work according to EU standards and value systems. Therefore, as part of this and three other series of lectures, it is planned to improve the curricula of 4 existing bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral courses by including EU-related components aimed at comprehensively improving students’ skills in the labor market.
