Lecturers of the Department of International Economic Relations of SumDU became participants of the international project Erasmus + KA2 for adult education

Lecturers of the Department of International Economic Relations of the ASI BT SSU in partnership with five foreign institutions received a grant for the project “Digital Learning for the Family” (2021-2023). The project is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus + 2021-2027 program, Key Area 2: Strategic Partnership Projects. Project Coordinator in Ukraine is PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department Zamora O.M., Project Expert in Ukraine is Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department Petrushenko Yu.M.

The project aims to overcome the social consequences of the coronavirus crisis and forced migration that have affected women with children, especially in terms of disqualification. The group of women with migrant backgrounds, who were already socially weak, low-skilled and unaccustomed to learning before the crisis, is indeed at risk of falling behind in digital skills since the pandemic exponentially increases the use of digital applications and skills needs and the future labor market. The opportunities for these women continue to decline rapidly due to a lack of further training.
The final event of the project in Ukraine will be a conference for representatives of women’s associations, women’s organizations, representatives of colleges, universities, educational institutions, authorities, refugee women and IDPs, employers.
