On June 22, the University of Western Bohemia in Plzen hosted an international seminar “Trends in Digital Education: Experiencing crises – challenges, obstacles and answers for digitally enhanced education?”
The Department of Planing of Lifelong and Distance Education of the University of West Bohemia in Plzen, in cooperation with the Czech Association for Distance Learning and the Center for Higher Education, invited European educators to discuss the main challenges and ways to organize distance learning with digital tools under crisis. The event was attended by representatives of several European countries, including Belgium, Israel, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine. Sumy State University was represented by teachers of the Department of International Economic Relations Zamora O. M. and Shcherbyna T. V.
Participants paid particular attention to the problems of evaluating the results of distance learning and preventing cheating, as well as the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in Ukraine during the war.
