(Universidad de Almería).
“I cannot believe another exchange program was completed. Almost 6 months in the country, where I dreamt to live for a while. Spain is going to be forever in my heart!
I am so happy that Сумський державний університет ӏ СумДУ ӏ Sumy State University ӏ Sumdu has partnerships with other universities around the world to give an opportunity for students to try studying abroad. It is a so essential part of any high education nowadays.
During my research of the ERASMUS+ programs at SumDU, I have found the university where I wanted to study as well as the country where I wanted to try to live in. It was the Universidad de Almería. I was glad I have chosen this one. I studied courses I wanted and was able to explore the educational system in Spain and in Europe itself. Indeed, studying in Spain was even harder than I had thought in the beginning. In the US, it had been even easier. However, I did not struggle that much. Professors were ready to help with anything you need, but you can feel the hierarchy and subordination. Also, the university provides various events, clubs for students, which were great. The ESN Almeria did that especially. Thanks to them, I was able to feel a part of the Erasmus community and enjoyed my Erasmus. The most important thing is the caring and wonderful people work at the university. I am so thankful to the International Office and their employees for helping me figure out what to do with my 2 canceled planes and the expanded staying in the country. It was a challenge. Thanks to them, I was able to overcome it! Muchas Gracias!
The most I am thankful for the people whom I met during my exchange. I was blessed to encounter with them! My groupmates, that became friends after, had a special impact. I could explore different cultures with them, especially, Arabic ones. It was nice to get to know more about them and their states. I am grateful for my roommates too. They were awesome! During the quarantine time, we made impossible things to entertain ourselves and keep in a positive mood. Poch Party, Intercultural Nights, Movie Fridays, and so on. I love you guys so much! And I am also grateful for a person which I met in Almeria and who is going to be forever in my heart!Thank you y’all guys! You made my Erasmus!
And, of cause, the biggest Thanks goes to the European Commission, Erasmus+, Erasmus Student Network for making my dreams true!
¡Hasta pronto, España! ¡Gracias por todo!”
