On December 3-13, 2021, a new series of scientific webinars will be held on the development of surveys for research within the joint project “Interuniversity cooperation as a tool to improve the quality of selected universities in Ukraine”, implemented by SSU in consortium with the Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague. According to the results of the webinars, participants will receive certificates, the language of the event – English. We invite you to take part in the final series of scientific webinars on the development of surveys for research, which will take place on December 3-13, 2021 online within the joint project of the Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague and SSU “Interuniversity Cooperation as a tool to improve the quality of selected universities in Ukraine.” Webinars are for all interested students, graduate students and lecturers/ researchers interested in research and academic careers.
The webinars will be conducted by Czech experts, Ms. Myroslava Bavorova, PhD, and Dr. Tomas Ratinger (Department of Development Economics, Czech University of Natural Sciences) in English. Participants will receive certificates according to the results. Together with the lecturers, the students will define the appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods that can be used in the study. There will be a lecture on possible quantitative approaches, on the objectives, questions and hypotheses of the research, a session on the consequences of the literature review, an interactive session on setting research goals / questions. Appropriate qualitative and quantitative approaches are also considered, as well as a review of quantitative methods. There will be a practical lesson on a qualitative approach – a focus group on a relevant topic will be modeled.
