Representatives of the Department of International Economic Relations, Anna Vorontsova and Oleksii Plastun, together with Inna Makarenko from the Department of Accounting and Taxation, participated in the international conference RUTA Annual Conference 2026: “Rooted Knowledges and Dialogues for Change”. The event took place on July 12–15, 2026, in Uzhhorod.
As part of the “Hybrid Panel: Authoritarianism and Knowledge Making” section, the researchers delivered a joint presentation dedicated to the presentation of the activities and achievements of the Think Tank “Research on Fakes and Propaganda in Russian Science”, as well as the discussion of the topical issue “Potemkin Village of Russian Science: The Case of Editorial Boards”.
The presentation sparked a lively discussion among panel participants and received high praise and positive feedback from the international academic community.
The research was carried out within the framework of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NRFU) project 0126U003080 (2026–2028), “Science as a Tool of Propaganda: Identification, Analysis, and Counteraction on the Example of the Russian Scientific System.”
