In the October newsletter, the CLOUD HED project team summarized the results of the first year of work. The project focuses on how universities can remain resilient during crises, wars, and digital transformations.
The team has completed case studies on the functioning of higher education systems under crisis conditions (cases from six countries), prepared a Handbook on Models of Resilient Universities, and assessed the readiness of partner institutions to transition to a “cloud-based” format.
The project results were presented at the EAIR 2025 Conference in Utrecht, and research papers by the team members have been published in the academic journals Zeitschrift für Hochschulentwicklung and Business Perspectives.
The project demonstrates that even in times of uncertainty, higher education can adapt by implementing digital and flexible learning approaches.
