The Department of International Economic Relations co-organized the NATO International Conference in Krakow (Poland)

On November 13-17, the International Conference within the framework of the NATO Science for Peace and Security Program was held in Krakow. The agenda of the conference «Exchange of experience in the field of security at the local level. Eastern European perspective» covered issues of critical infrastructure security, cybersecurity, problems of international security cooperation, innovative projects related to local security, etc.

The University was represented as a co-organizer of the conference by the Head of the Department of International Economic Relations Yuriy PETRUSHENKO, professors of the Department of International Economic Relations Fedir ZHURAVKA and Yuliia HALYNSKA.

The conference was attended by researchers and experts from Poland, Ukraine, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Speakers were experts working in the field of security, including generals and colonels of the Polish and Ukrainian armies, representatives of local governments from Poland, Switzerland and Ukraine, professors from universities in Poland, Ukraine and the UK, representatives of the diplomatic corps, NATO delegates and representatives of public administration and executive authorities.

The main organizers of the conference were the Ignatianum Foundation, Sumy State University and the Association of Polish Cities.
