The Department of International Economic Relations at Sumy State University continues to actively expand its partnership network and strengthen cooperation with leading professional organizations.
As part of this initiative, a memorandum of cooperation has been signed with the NGO «The Project Management Institute Ukraine», the official Ukrainian chapter of the Project Management Institute.
PMI is the world’s largest professional organization in the field of project management, bringing together specialists from more than 80 countries and shaping international project management standards. The organization develops globally recognized standards and certifications (including PMP and CAPM), conducts research on current trends, and promotes the dissemination of best practices in project management.
Within the framework of the partnership, the following activities are envisaged:
- organization of joint educational events (guest lectures, training sessions, workshops);
- involvement of practitioners in the educational process;
- participation of students in professional initiatives and events;
- integration of modern project management approaches into academic programs.
This cooperation opens up new opportunities for professional development for both students and academic staff, strengthens the practical component of education, and contributes to the development of competencies relevant to the international labor market.
