On April 20, 2026, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Transformation of the World Order: Political, Legal, Economic and Humanitarian Challenges of Our Time” was held at Uzhhorod National University with the participation of leading Ukrainian and international academic and research institutions.
The event brought together scholars, experts, and practitioners in the fields of international relations, economics, and law to discuss pressing challenges of the modern world order, including transformation processes in the global economy, geopolitical shifts, and prospects for post-war recovery.
During the plenary session, a number of insightful presentations were delivered, focusing on economic policy in times of war, the development of innovative ecosystems, international experience in economic adaptation to prolonged crises, and challenges in the functioning of international law.
Representatives of the Department of International Economic Relations, Domashenko M.D. and Shcherbachenko V.O., took part in the conference and actively contributed to the academic discussions on current trends in the development of international economic relations.
Participation in such events promotes the strengthening of academic cooperation, exchange of experience, and integration of research results into the educational process, which is essential for training highly qualified specialists in the field of international economics.
The findings were published as part of the research project “Fundamental Principles of Sustainable and Inclusive Regional Development for Post-War Recovery in the Context of Digital Transformation” (Project No. 0125U001620, 2025–2027), funded by the Ukrainian state budget.
