Since November 2023, the Department of International Economic Relations of Sumy State University has been implementing the international project 101126918 -RPBAs – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH “Architectonics of Research and Production Associations: Markers of the Reconstruction of Post-War Ukraine with European Values”, which was selected by the European Commission based on the results of the 2023 competition of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet grant programme.

The project aims to form a holistic understanding the need for the research, production and business partnerships at the regional and national levels in the post-war period for economic recovery of Ukraine based on the European experience.
The tasks of the project are:
- to promote the publication and dissemination of academic research results;
- to create interest in the EU and become the basis for future poles of European knowledge, in particular in partner countries;
- to conduct individual courses on specific EU issues that are relevant to graduates in their professional lives, business leaders and government officials, which is achieved through the development and implementation of training courses aimed at understanding the need to respect the European principles of equality, freedom, democracy;
- to prepare and disseminate research results on the best European practices of creating collaborations and cluster associations;
- to promote the establishment and development of 2 regional academic units to disseminate European experience.
The project is designed for undergraduate and graduate students from different regions of Ukraine, managers of enterprises, primarily, in the machine-building and agricultural industries, and students of second higher education (Lifelong Learning) to disseminate the experience of creating collaborative, coopetitive and cluster forms of enterprises interaction, which are effective tools for the development of regional economies through pooling resources and hedging production and financial risks.
