Joint research with scientists from the University of Liverpool

The Head of the Department of International Economic Relations Yurii Petrushenko and postgraduate students of the Department (Sofia Petrenko, Olha Yeremenko, Tetiana Perederii) have been participating in the joint research programme at the University of Liverpool since June 2024. The programme involves cooperation with professors and improving the scientific level of students.

The University of Liverpool and Sumy State University (Sumy State University) are collaborating on a new research and innovation programme. Last year, the University partnered with Sumy State University to share resources, training and ideas. So far, activities have included hosting Ukrainian students at the International Summer School, both on campus and virtually, access to the electronic library resources and support for the IT needs of Sumy State University.

The new programme aims to strengthen research ties and develop long-term partnerships between the two organisations, particularly in economics, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, medicine and many others.
