On June 16, 2026, Inna Koblianska, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations at Sumy State University, participated as an invited speaker in the international “Krishi Manthan – 21 Days Summer School Training Program”, dedicated to the transformation of agriculture, food security, environmental sustainability, entrepreneurship, and skills development. The program brought together representatives of universities, research institutions, and practitioners from different countries.
Within the session devoted to Sustainable Development Goals, she delivered a lecture entitled “Sustainable Development Goals: From Global Vision to Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development”. More than 50 participants joined the online event, including academics, researchers, students, educators, and professionals working in the agricultural sector.
The presentation explored the evolution of the sustainable development concept, current global challenges related to achieving the SDGs, and the role of agriculture and rural development in ensuring food security, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
The presentation was based on results of the research project “Fundamentals of Sustainable and Inclusive Regional Spatial Development for Post-War Reconstruction in the Context of Digital Transformation”. Participants learned about Ukrainian post-war reconstruction challenges, and the opportunities offered by digital technologies for building more resilient and inclusive development models.
Participation in international scientific and educational initiatives contributes to the dissemination of Ukrainian research findings within the global academic community and opens new opportunities for international cooperation in the fields of sustainable development and post-war recovery.
