Digital competences as an element of civic education: the EU experience

On March 29, 2020, Head of the International Economic Relations Department of the Academic and Scientific Institute of Business, Economics and Management of SSU, Doctor of Economics, Professor Yuri Petrushenko, gave an online lecture, “Digital competencies as an element of civic education: the experience of the European Union” for students of Sumy Adult Education Center “Education for Life”.

The lecture was included in a series of streams within the Digital Liknep program of the Adult Education Center in Sumy, during which practical SMART solutions and digital tools are studied.

The lecture was given within the framework of the EU project of Jean Monnet (department level), implemented at the EEBA department “EU Economic Policy and Civil Society” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) and funded by the J. Monnet program.

The lecture aroused the interest of the listeners. The prospects of digital democracy tools arose the most significant interest in the audience.
