On September 213, 2023, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Viktoriia Shkola, the EU Erasmus+ Project coordinator “Implementation of European Union mechanisms for combating modern challenges and threats” (101085700 – IMEU – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEITCH-RSCH), has taken part in the International roundtable debate «Social entrepreneurship and traditional forms of management in the EU: experience for Ukraine» held at Zaporizhzhia National University (Ukraine).
During the event, a number of issues, namely peculiarities of the development and integration of social entrepreneurship in partnership in Ukraine, the EU, and the USA; fulfilment of project activities in the conditions of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, formation of traditional business values chain, problems of restoring health as a social function of a person, have been discussed. Furthermore, within the event successful cases of European experience in building social business models in cooperation with traditional enterprises, socially active business activities in Zaporizhzhia region, the use of ecological tours as a type of social entrepreneurship on the example of Kryvyi Rih, and the public organizations’ activities in wartime, as well as practical experience of implementing social initiatives have been considered.
In total, more than 90 participants have taken part in the event, including representatives of businesses, state authorities, public organizations, scientists, scholars, academicians, students, and other stakeholders from Germany, the USA, and Ukraine.
