On 12 December 2023, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Viktoriia Shkola, coordinator of the EU Erasmus+ Project “Implementation of European Union mechanisms for combating modern challenges and threats” (101085700 – IMEU – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEITCH-RSCH), took part in international conference “Energy Security Dialogue 2023: Resilience & Recovery”, held by DiXi Group think tank under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine with the financial support of the International Renaissance Foundation and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Ukraine).
Ukrainian, European, and American stakeholders, including government representatives, civil society, businesses, and international partners, attended the event.
During the conference, foreign and domestic experts in the fields of economics, law, and public administration made presentations:

Within the event, several topical issues of energy security in Ukraine and the region, particularly problems of restoring the energy sector of Ukraine according to the best world standards and ensuring its resistance to new challenges and threats, mechanisms of strengthening the resilience of the energy system of Ukraine. Moreover, the event participants created a vision of the common energy future of Ukraine and the entire European region.
The special attention of the conference participants was devoted to issues related to the decisions and actions of the Ukrainian government, business, and international partners that will help create a sustainable energy system, a set of measures and tools that will help Ukraine withstand physical and hacker attacks, reliably supply energy resources in the process of transition away from fossil fuels; ensuring energy independence and resilience of local communities and cities.
