On March 24, 2023, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Viktoriia Shkola and PhD, Assoc. Prof. Maryna Domashenko, within the Project of the Programme EU Erasmus+ «Implementation of European Union mechanisms for combating modern challenges and threats» (101085700 – IMEU – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) (2022-2025), took part in the hearings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Economic Development on the topic “Plan for Ukraine’s recovery from the war consequences” (Ukraine), organized on the initiative of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (the proposals were developed in line with the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 266 dated 04.21.22 by the National Council for the Recovery of Ukraine from the Consequences of the War).
During the event, the Project of Ukraine’s Recovery Plan, namely: strategic challenges facing the Government of Ukraine, the role of structured business associations in the implementation of Ukraine’s Recovery Plan, the industrial complex role, creating Ukraine’s favorable image to attract investments, the financial sector state, prospects for the agriculture development, the Ukrainians’ return to Ukraine was considered. Furthermore, the Memorandum on the Sumy region restoration was represented. Ukraine’s reconstruction based on the latest European policies and standards was emphasized.
About 300 participants, including Committee Chairman Dmytro Natalukha, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee Serhii Taruta, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Oleksiy Movchan, Committee members: Galina Yanchenko, Musa Magomedov, Oleksandr Marikovsky, Bohdan Kitsak, First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko, President of Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Anatoly Kinakh, representatives of central executive authorities, business, industry trade unions, associations, and unions, as well as experts, researchers, analysts, and other stakeholders took part in the hearings of the committee.
